Khurshid Ahmed was Elected MLA in Punjab in 1962 and in Haryana in 1968 from the Nuh constituency; elected from Taoru in 1977 and again from Nuh Constituency in 1987 and 1996; The father remained minister three times in haryana and member of Parliament (lok Sabha) in 1988;Mahatma Gandhiji and the father Ch. Khurshid Ahmed have been the source of inspiration to plunge into the public life; endowed with an aim to work for the socially neglected section of society and to improve the living conditions of farming community; have a vision to make the Mewat region an example for best water management and irrigation schemes for handsome return to the farmers and labourers; inclined to wark for elimination of female foeticide and improvement and empowerment of women.
