FREE ELECTRICITY CONNECTIONS

*1216. SH. RAM KISHAN FAUJI, M.L.A. : Will the Power Minister be pleased to state:-

a) whether it is a fact that the Hon’ble Chief Minister had made an announcement in the rally of Bawani Khera on 28.7.07 to release the free electricity connections within 8 months in the Dhanis under the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyut Scheme togetherwith the reasons for which it has not been started so far alongwith the time by which the said scheme will be started; and

b) whether it is a fact that the two transformers of the capacity of 4+4 Megawatt installed at Power House Bawani Khera are not adequate for the proper supply of electricity keeping in view the population; if so, the time by which the transformers of high capacity will be installed?
