CONSTRUCTION OF AN ESCAPE RESERVIOR
*1104. MAJ. NIRPENDER SINGH SANGWAN, M.L.A. : Will the Irrigation Minister be pleased to state:-
a) whether it is a fact that escape at Pump House No. 2 on the Loharu Canal causes floods on the vast chunks of fertile land in villages Birhi Kalan and Mehra;
b) whether it is also a fact that no compensation has been paid to the effected farmers by the Government; if so, whether there is any proposal to compensate these farmers; and
c) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the
Government to construct an escape reservoir at RD41300 on the left of
