Vacancy on Select Committee. - Any vacancy which has occurred on a Select Committee through death, resignation, absence from India, inability to attend the duty or otherwise shall be reported to the Speaker. If the Assembly is in session, the vacancy may be filled by the Assembly. But if it be not in session, and if the matter is, in the opinion of the Speaker urgent, the speaker may appoint a member to fill the vacancy.
