Motion for leave

In all cases fifteen days’ notice has to be given of the intention to move for leave to introduce a Bill and every such notice has to be accompanied by four copies of the next of the bill togetherwith a full statements of the Objects and Reasons of the Bill duly signed by the Member giving such notice in English and its authoritative Hindi Translated version.

The Speaker may, for sufficient reasons allow the motion for leave to introduce a Bill to be made at shorter notice than fifteen days.

If motion for leave to introduce a Bill is carried, the Bill shall be introduced.
