Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan holds meeting with DIPR officials on CPA North Zone Conference preparations; formally invites Governor at Lok Bhavan to attend the Conference. — Chandigarh, May 25

In connection with the preparations for the Zone-2 Conference of the North India Region of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan on Monday held a meeting with senior officials of the Information and Public Relations Department. After the meeting, the Vidhan Sabha Speaker visited Haryana Lok Bhavan and formally invited the Governor of the state, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, to attend the conference.

In the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various arrangements for the conference. During this, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan reviewed the preparations being made for the conference. He instructed the officials that the CPA North Zone Conference is an event of a distinguished category. Therefore, every arrangement should be planned after thorough consideration in such a way that minimum resources are utilized.

The Speaker said that this conference, to be held from June 8 to 10 under the hosting of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, will be dedicated to democratic values. The meeting was attended by Director General of Information and Public Relations Department K. M. Pandurang, Additional Director Manish Lohan, and officers of Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
